Personal Bio

Anthony McCaul has lived and worked in Manchester for the last 20 years. He has been a city centre campaigner for much of that—and is committed to making Manchester City Centre thrive as the best place to live.

He said: “Our local Deansgate Labour team have a track record of delivery: improving services, supporting communities, and winning what matters from new parks to our new school. I want to bring my passion to keep up this momentum, working alongside them to make our city centre an ever-better place to live, work, and visit—while standing up for our city, making that Labour difference, against an indifferent, failing Tory government.”

Anthony has benefited from living and working in a thriving international city. Anthony’s passionate about making Manchester a sustainable and green city, having worked on community campaigns to improve our public transport, fighting for the resources needed to support our growing city centre communities, and building a safer, greener, and cleaner city to benefit residents and visitors alike using his experience volunteering to keep our city clean and litter free.
