We are delivering the services that you need.
As your city centre team, we have pushed long and hard to make sure you get the services you need. To deliver these, we secure funding from developers and other sources. Right now, we are well on the way to seeing our new medical centre and city centre primary school open.
The new medical centre, near Castlefield, is due to open in May and people registered with the Docs, Cornbrook, and the Vallance practices will be able to access healthcare there as part of their existing GP registration. We are also looking at access to NHS dentistry which many have raised.
Our new 210-place nursery and primary school is due to open in September 2024 and is under construction now, alongside a new park. This builds on our long-term success establishing new services like the Ancoats Primary School.
Our new landmark cultural institution, the Factory, will open this year, deepening our city’s cultural offer as a new home for Manchester International Festival.
We will continue fighting to make sure you can access the services you need, so that people can live and thrive in our city centre at all stages of life.
