After 14 years of Tory cuts and chaos, Manchester’s communities have been hit hard.

Through the cost of living crisis, Manchester Labour has acted to help those in need:

  • Tackling homelesness, boosted by £35 million from the Labour government over the next 4 years.
  • Winter Hardship Fund: cash payments for over 6,500 pensioners, carers and the most vulnerable in Manchester.
  • Free Cost of Living Advice Line: 14,000 helped residents so far. Free meal vouchers, supporting kids during school holidays.
  • Warm spaces in libraries – Hot drinks, advice, and digital support.

If you need help or support, whether it’s about your own situation or if you have ideas, questions, and concerns about your local neighbourhood, then you can contact your local councillors. Deansgate Labour is here for you – all year round.
