Manchester Labour has invested an extra £4 million for homelessness services in Manchester. This means the Council now spends over £32 million every year on supporting homeless people.

This new money will be spent on ending the reliance on temporary accommodation, preventing homelessness through rent-debt support and working with charities to provide on-the-ground support to those who are currently homeless.

Everyone deserves a home and to be treated with dignity and compassion. Our commitment to investing in the right services to end homelessness in Manchester is helping deliver this.
